Tolog Transportation

Transportation Options & Registration

All day students are required to register in April for the mode of transportation they will use to arrive at school in the morning during the 2025–26 academic year.

Morning drop-offs by a single-occupancy vehicle (SOV)—whether parent- or student-driven—are not permitted, except in the specific cases noted below.

Transportation Options

Students must select one of the following options when completing their online registration:

Ride the Bus

Convenient, safe, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly—bus service eases traffic, reduces reliance on parent drivers, and is often more reliable than carpools.

Parent-Driven Carpool

Must include 2 to 4 Flintridge Sacred Heart students per vehicle.

Student-Driven Carpool

  • A confirmed parking spot is required to drive to campus.
  • Seniors with a valid license must carpool.
  • Juniors with a driver’s license issued by January 6, 2025 may apply for a yearlong parking permit (pending availability).
  • Senior SOV Drivers (license issued after January 6, 2025) may apply for a yearlong permit, space permitting.

Early Arrival (Before 7:00 AM)
SOV drop-off (parent or student) is allowed before 7:00 AM only for students enrolled in zero block classes.

REGISTRATION

Beginning in April, all families must complete transportation registration via our new online transportation portal.

A link will be provided in the Community Newsletter and by email.

The online process will guide families through:
  1. Selecting a transportation option
  2. Requesting a parking permit (if eligible)
  3. Identifying carpool partners (for carpoolers)
  4. Uploading required documentation (for student drivers)

Required Documentation for Student Drivers:

Student drivers must upload a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance by July 15, unless these documents are already on file.

FINAL REMINDERS

  • The online transportation form will be available in May in the Parent Portal, alongside other required annual student forms.
  • All families—regardless of bus use—must sign the online transportation agreement.
  • Parking permits are limited and issued only to eligible students. If spaces remain, additional permits may be granted after May.
  • Carpool matching assistance will be offered once registration forms are reviewed.
