Why did you choose to enroll at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

Initially, I was drawn to the school’s beautiful campus and ideal location. However, when I shadowed FSHA in seventh grade, I was captivated by the strong science department. I was especially impressed by how the curriculum incorporates research, particularly in the Scientific Research class.

What activities/co-curriculars are you involved in at school and outside of school?

Some of my favorite activities include studying abroad in Lima, Peru; volunteering at a clinic in the Los Angeles area; hosting exchange students; and interning at NASA’s JPL and Stanford Medicine.

What is your favorite class at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

My favorite classes have been Anatomy & Physiology, Honors Physics, and Scientific Research. And although I love science, I can tell you that the teachers have made the classes even more enjoyable! I definitely recommend taking these classes.

What are your career aspirations?

I plan to become a cardiothoracic surgeon or anesthesiologist!

What aspects of the residential life program do you enjoy most?

I love how living on campus feels similar to college life. It’s helped me develop independence, communication skills, and a sense of exploration. I also enjoy living with my best friends and forming connections with girls from all over the world.

What advice would you give a new student at our school?

Explore as many new opportunities as possible. Take classes that excite you, ask questions, and immerse yourself in the experience. But remember to find your balance between academics and fun tailored to your goals.
