What clubs, organizations, sports, service projects, etc. are you involved in?
At the moment I am involved in the Cooking and Gardening Club, Student Mission Committee, and Ambassadors.
What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus is the path on my way to the boarding hall from the high school building. This includes the cottages, the bridge, and the octagon which is very broad but the path as a whole is breathtaking. Last year I had Spanish class in the boarding hall which was sometimes a long walk but I quickly found the beauty in it. I would even give myself extra time so I could spend time with the spectacular sites.
What is your career aspiration?
My aspiration is to be an actress. I have always loved theatre and going into this field in the future is a dream!
What's your proudest accomplishment so far?
My proudest accomplishment is raising foster kittens. For years now my family has been consistently getting litters of kittens to feed, clean up after, and socialize until they are eligible for adoption. This is something I am very proud of because it's unbelievable seeing these little beings with their eyes barely open grow into kittens practically bouncing off the walls! It's also quite symbolic and demonstrates all of the hard work my family puts in.
What three words describe you?
Caring. Driven. Creative.
What's your favorite class at Flintridge Sacred Heart and why?
My favorite class is Honors Precalculus with Mr. Nish because he always keeps class time interesting. He is really funny and then also extremely helpful when I'm confused.
What do you love about Flintridge Sacred Heart?
What I love most about Flintridge Sacred Heart is the community aspect. My freshman year was on Zoom and I still felt included even though I had never been on campus. When we went on campus for hybrid learning I already felt like I new a lot of girls and it was very reassuring. Every girl smiled at me when I walked by and asked me if I needed help to my next class if I looked confused. This made me feel very accepted and cared for.
What advice do you have for someone applying to Flintridge Sacred Heart?
My advice for someone applying to Flintridge is to just let it happen! Obviously work hard on your application but just be yourself. The best thing to do is be your true authentic self in your interview and then whatever's supposed to happen will happen.
What do you do for fun?
I have always had a passion for musical theatre and the ocean. I'm actually getting certified in scuba diving with my sister and friend. I can't wait to be able to spend more time in a place that I love so much.
Anything else you want to share about yourself?
Something that I haven't mentioned is that I love travel and learning about different cultures. One of my dreams is to be at least bilingual, languages and cultures interest me so much.
