Varsity Tennis Looks for New Highs

Varsity tennis started the season with new coach Mr. John Robb, a new practice location at Pasadena City College and new practice uniforms with matching bags.
The players love their coach and are excited to see Mr. Robb not just in math classes but also on the court.

“He lets us run our own practices which really helps us communicate more as a team and are always fun,” said senior Shea Harvey.

Captains this year are Clarisse Aoanan ’11 and Monique Lind ’11. Also on the team are seniors Monique Farrage, Katarina Nguyen, Melissa Pittson, Shaylyn Stanley and Stephanie Wetzel.

Juniors include Chloe Tom, Katie Thomson and Alexandra Scarborough while sophomores Emily Katz and Susie Mendoza round out the team.

The first league game will be on Tuesday, Oct. 6 away against Alemany at El Cariso Golf Course.
